5 years ago we could never have imagined how our lives would be so profoundly changed by a single picture.
We were naive. We had so much to learn. We still do.
Our world view has grown. Our family has grown much larger then we could have ever imagined.
We are more passionate then ever about ethical adoptions. We more keenly feel our responsibility for families living in destitute poverty. We work harder then ever before to support vulnerable families stay together all over the world.
We are so extraordinarily lucky to have such a spectacular person as a part of our family.
She has made us better.
She is amazing.
Smart, passionate, thoughtful and wise beyond her years. We are happy to be hers. So Happy.
I cannot believe 5 years have already passed us by. I know I say it every time but I truly cannot wait to see what the future holds.

she is a rock star. and i appreciate so much you throwing yourself under a truck of adversity to bring the truth you faced to me personally. you all have been through so much, and i feel lucky to learn along with you.
